Goergina Harding and Sue Lloyd Roberts visite us last month for a few days. We had a great time together. We went on a trip to Rasnov with the older children and visited the Rasnov fortress! It felt like on top of the world. It was a beautiful day, and a great scenary!

The children were very impressed to hear so much about part of our History.

 A good reason for a celebration and get togheter!

All the children came home( apart from Andra an Dan who are very far.) .We had few friends from Bucharest, Victor with his daughters and Olivia with her husband Giani. Plus. plus, plus Pumpkin, costumes and games, joy and laughter. The prizes come from our friends and also from Simba Invest, a sponsor in Bacau.

We had Mrs Mary Gibson’s visit here in October, and we celebrated Ancuta’s and Lidia’s birthday with  her  and the rest of the family                       .

The four children from Casa Brancusi, Albert, Diana, Georgiana and Marcel have stepped into a new life: going to school in town in Onesti. We had to rent a flat for them, where they live with the staff during the week and come home over weekends!

Very nice welcome from the new teachers and schoolmates and very good resultes at the school. We are all very proud of them! Marcel stardet his drum classes and  Diana canto(her teacher is working a CD with her and other children singing)

Quite a special event, The Pie Festival is organised once a year, at the end of August by  ANTREC Bacau(Association for Rural Tourism) by the village hall Oituz, the priest in Harja and our charity). We have guests from several counties, that come with pies and cakes for a contest.

This year our children were real organizers and they were very successful. There were many guests from sorrounding village and towns who had the chance to learn more about the Oituz Vally, about our   traditions  and also about our project!

All the young children were invited by our friend one Romanian sponsor Olivia, to her “pensiune” at the seaside in Vama Veche. Joy and laughter  for  everybody. A big noisy bunch!..See some photos!

Hello dear friends!

As we promised through this blog, we wish to share with you all dear friends, our nice and beautiful experiences, which we have to thank you for.
One is the amazing trip we had in Maramures with our dear friend Remus. We( Ali, Marcel, Diana and Georgiana) spent some fantasic days in the mountains.
We had a day trip in the steam train, which was really intresting and we had lots of fun, we visited the Merry Cemetery, and also we went with the cable car to see the Horses Falls.
